Credits
The currency you spend to submit proposals.
For freelancers. Credits are the proposal-bid currency. Each time you submit a proposal, you spend Credits from your balance, which keeps bidding intentional rather than spammy.
How your balance works
- Starting balance - new users get an initial allotment of Credits to begin bidding.
- Plan grants - paid plans grant more Credits each month; the monthly grant is rolling out.
- Spend per proposal - submitting a proposal deducts Credits, so you focus bids on the best-fit jobs.
Note. Credits were previously called "Connects." If you have seen that term elsewhere, it refers to the same proposal-bid currency.
