Paying with WRK
Not available yet, and this page says so plainly.
You cannot currently pay for anything on WorkOfficially™ with WRK. Subscriptions, plan upgrades and contract escrow are settled in fiat, by card or PayPal. There is no WRK option at checkout, and holding WRK does not reduce your platform fee.
This page previously described paying in WRK for a 0% platform fee. That was written before the payment path was removed from the product, and it was wrong to leave standing. The fee you actually pay is the one on the fees page:
- Base rate - a single published platform fee on each released milestone.
- Reputation tier - the rate falls as your tier rises.
- Pro and Elite - a further reduction on top of the tier discount.
- Fixed per contract - the rate is snapshotted when the contract is created, so it cannot move under you mid-job.
What WRK can do today
Hold a balance, send it to another WorkOfficially user, and deposit or withdraw it on-chain as a BEP-20 token. That is the whole of it.
We are not putting a date on paying with WRK. When it exists, this page will describe it, and the fees page will change at the same time.
