What is WorkOfficially?

WorkOfficially™ is a freelance and services marketplace where clients post work and freelancers offer gigs and proposals, with payments protected by escrow.

Who is it for?

It is for both sides of the market: clients hiring for projects or ongoing work, and freelancers selling services. The same account works in either role.

What is WorkSafe escrow and how does it protect me?

WorkSafe™ holds the payment for a contract in escrow and releases it against agreed deliverables, often as milestones. Funds are committed up front and released as work is delivered, which helps protect both buyer and seller.

How do Credits work, and what happened to Connects?

Credits are used for actions like sending proposals. They replace the older Connects model. Your plan determines how many Credits you get, and additional Credits may be available.

What are the reputation tiers?

Reputation reflects your verified history and activity on the platform and grows as you complete work. The Reputation Bridge can help establish standing based on a verified track record.

Is WRK an investment?

No. WRK is a utility token used on the platform for transactions and discounts. It is not sold as an investment, and we make no claims about price, yield, or return.

How do payouts and clearing holds work?

Earnings become available for payout after a clearing hold, which is a waiting period before funds can be withdrawn. Higher plans may offer faster payout clearing. Withdrawals are then sent to your chosen method.

How does identity verification (KYC) work?

Identity verification (KYC) confirms who you are to help keep the marketplace scam-resistant. You complete it once; once verified, the prompts are hidden. It can be redone if your details change.

Are there mobile apps?

Yes. There are native apps for iPhone (SwiftUI) and Android (Jetpack Compose). Both use native core screens plus an in-app web bridge for the full feature set, and you sign in with your existing account.

What is WovenOrigin?

WovenOrigin™ is WorkOfficially's luxury-fashion sister brand, a separate property at wovenorigin.com.

How do disputes work?

If a contract runs into trouble, either side can open a dispute. Because funds are held in WorkSafe escrow, the disputed amount stays protected while the issue is reviewed and resolved.

Is my data secure?

We use identity verification, escrow, and account protections such as SMS-based two-factor authentication to help keep accounts and data secure. Security is an ongoing effort rather than an absolute guarantee.
