Paying with WRK

You can pay with WRK on WorkOfficially™ in two places: for a plan, and to fund a fixed-price milestone.

• Funding a milestone - the contract stays priced in US dollars. When you fund, the milestone amount is converted to WRK at the current WRK rate, shown before you confirm, and those WRK are held in escrow.
• No fees - no client service fee and no freelancer platform fee on a milestone funded with WRK.
• Release and refund - on approval the freelancer receives exactly the WRK held; a refund returns them to the wallet they came from.
• Plans - each plan has a WRK price on the billing page. A plan paid with WRK runs for the period paid and is renewed from the billing page.

Good to know

The WRK amount is fixed when a milestone is funded; what it is worth in dollars later can be higher or lower. Funding with WRK pauses when there is no current WRK rate. Hourly contracts are charged to a card. Full rules: the Fees, Payments & Refunds terms.
